MCGARD has been the leading manufacture of wheel lock systems for more than 40 years. The identification of every McGard employee with McGard products and services is evident.

In 1964 the unique wheel lock with the typical key pattern was launched for the aftermarket by McGard. Equipped with the same characteristics as the standard wheel lock but can only be opened with the right key, the wheel lock also offers exceptional protection for tyres and wheels. Our unique design enables a nearly unlimited number of patterns.

Mcgard have also supplied the BIG names amoung the automotive manufactures with the safety products since as far back as 1977. Of the more than 30 automotive manufactures worldwide there is almost no original equipment manufacture who does not use one or the other of our products.

Becides the wheel lock which has been sucessfully and continuously developed over decades, McGard also offers alot of other safety solutions for the automotive industry. Safety protection for spare tyres, tailgates hub caps and airbags are only a few of the products from the McGard product range for the automotive industry.

MARINE
McGard is able to offer a complete product range of marine locks. Whether stern drive locks or propeller locks or outboard locks - manufactured from a stainless steel and marine steel plate these locks are designed to meet stringent requirements at sea.

Wheel Lock Bolts
European car manufactures use mainly wheel bolts for wheel fastening.

McGard wheel lock bolts are manufactured according to the latest technologies and requirements of the automative industry. Bolts are produced by the cold-extrusion method and correspond to stength class 10.9 per iso 898.
Our wheel lock bolts are assembled from two separately manufactured compounents, and this enables us to produce heads with an extreme hardness of 46 - 54 RC. Each wheel lock bolt is plated with geomet, which ensures constany tightening and loosing torques.

This plate offers an excellent corrosion resistance.
